hi, sorry to ressurect the topic but, how do you record conversations on the mumble, evil?
thanks
I was speaking to Predz today on steam. My dad opened the room door so I quickly whipped my cock out and pretended I was looking at porn to save the embarassment.

Download Virtual Audio Cable
Download Audacity
Download Mumble
Open Virtual Audio Cable
Check all 3 boxs under “Connected Sources”
Click Set
Minimize Virtual Audio Cable
Open mumble
Do to audio wizards
Set output as Line1 Virtual Audio Cable
Finish the wizard
Open Audacity
File > Preferences
Audio I/O
Recording Device Line 1
Apply
Then it should work
You’ll have to do it on a seperate machine than the one you play on or you wont be able to use it. It isn’t cpu hungry so if you have a laptop it’ll work fine.
I’ll start updating it again now Assembly is over and we are going more active. I might also go through some maps, with mumble recordings.
Can’t you just use Audacity by itself and set the input to the output you’re using?
Didn’t work for me

Yes please!
Awesome evil!
I suggest starting the recording a bit before the match goes live and the saying ‘live’ when teh round starts. Now I have to: estimate my alt-tab time; run the demo for that long; pause the demo ; alt-tab out ; start the recording ; get back ingame ; and then start the demo.
With the longer recording i could just run the audio, get ingame and then click unpause when i hear the que.
Or am i just absolutely unaware of some handy workaround here?

Not really a work around but should be easier if you use window mode.
