FPS in TF2 is unreliable as shit and it’s a little bit of a guessing game what you’re going to get…
Over 60? Likely, but you might want to get another CPU instead… i5’s are cheap, fast and very easy to overclock.
everyones said it, but tf2 loves cpu. That clock speed is a little low. 4 cores or not.
how much do you want to spend for your new pc?
i just bought myself one and i get about 150 to 200 avg on 6on6 and 300 if i just hop around in the world (@1680×1050) dxlevel 95 windowed noborder and all on high

well, i was hoping to get away with 600 euro. i dont have very much money at the moment. and i dont wanna wait for the money either. :E
I got a phenom II x4 945 3,0 ghz quadcore cpu and I can run tf2 max settings with average fps of about 100-110 in 6vs6. My gpu is two years old radeon hd 3850 512mb which is not a beast anymore these days but gets the job done:p
My point is that basically I’d recommend you to focus on the cpu and maybe put your money on a phenom II x4 or i5 cpu, you could save some money by getting cheaper corsair psu for example since you propably don’t need 650w unless you’re going to overclock and stuff like that.
Tf2 is surprisingly demanding with your cpu, so focus on getting a decent one and you’ll be just fine.
I’ll help you tomorrow, lÖÖFv. On Steam. :)
