hmmm that’s weird as fuck. I just come back from work and tried it but I’ve done everything you guys said and it doesnt work. I’ve got all my milestones back after unticked them but i only received a jarate (without unticking the snipers milestones), and the eyelander. Still missing my targe and THE DIRECT HIT :-(

worked for me though,
just play for a bit, and make sure to restart your steam after unticking achievements!
i just did it again. It gave me my milestones back but still no weapons.
Looks like the game is afraid of what i could be able to do with TDH :o((
same i did it about 8 times
Me and my friends had the same problem yesterday, but we all got them given to us about 2 hours ago. I guess ull just have to wait like we did. Have u tryed actually dieng in game?

steam servers are down most likely because of amounts ppl playing… just wait till free weekend ends

We’ve been working on adding features to the item system. It’s been up and down as we iron out issues, and expect it to be stable in the next couple of days. We’re still recording achievements, and items that grant as a result of those achievements will be awarded once we get everything stabilized.

But from what I’ve heard you don’t really need to join it. You can still get your milestones back while dying in any other server.

No, it doesn’t. It would be really stupid if Valve would have made it like that.
