I agree the extra airshot damage is not needed and should be taken away given to the old rocket.
As is it will be a few weeks maybe even a month or two before we see the weapons final stats.

He was a skater, he got what he deserved.
a bit early to say if its OP or not. definitely will be interesting to see how it changes competetive play.

You seriously think that a point-blank direct rocket shouldn’t one-shot an unbuffed Scout?

80% faster is way too fast but I like the concept as Moose pointed out. If it’s overpowered it’s likely Valve will notice and fix it pretty quickly, there will be a lot more whining from public players on the forums if soldiers suddenly become gosu.
Perhaps its only 1 rocket in chamber at a time or maybe 2, this is the only way i can justify such fast rockets, otherwise it should be more like 10-20% faster with no damage falloff then we have Quake rockets to play with :D
People don’t seem to realise how big a difference 10% can make in the grand scheme of things. The FAN for example was balanced in fights before they added an extra 10% damage buff.

A direct hit on a fast moving scouts doesnt take as much skill as hitting someone whos stunned mid air for yer second round of FaN… agree with you on that one mate!!!!
