Anyways, its not about being upset of dieing or anything. It’s about giving atleast some chance to survive as a solly (or demo) against 2 scouts on such an open map like badlands.

Solly is ezmode on dm tbh and don’t really have much problems with demo either

Yet if you’re playing for aim warmup, why on earth would you care if you died or not?

Sometimes when you spawn there’s no enemies nearby, so it takes time to travel. Which is pretty much the same thing as a spawn time. And Scouts can just run away because there are no objectives in the map. There’s no point trying to hit Scouts that only shoot from far away and always retreat on 1on1s.

And yes, there are Scouts who play like that.

It’s kinda hard to warmup your aim when 3 fucking scouts always rape you in ~2 seconds right? I mean that about the time it takes to shoot 1 rocket.

Resup when killed an enemy doesnt work either. Countless times i killed a soldier or demo and got full health, but there was still a rocket or nade traveling to my face which means -100 hp.

Is there a possibility to actually get a team kill-counter and the first team to x kills wins? They are generally the rules to a decent TDM game anyway.

Hi and thanks for all the feedback.

Before adding functionality to the server i’m planning to add some maps, gullywash and obscure atm, if you think a map is worth adding or removing please tell me.

Concerning the issue with the health on kill and some random rocket removing your life right after killing someone , i can’t do much about it as i’m hooking the ondeath event from the server.

Edit : i choose to add some functionality before adding map as it takes a lot of time to find enough good spawn points on each of them. So before pushing the updated plugin on the server i’d wish to have some feedback about the functionality i’m planning to add.
Here is a detailed list of the new features :
– added a health on kill assist feature (for now 25% of the class max health, can be lowered or disabled)
– added a cvar to enable/disable the ammo on kill feature.
– added a cvar to enable/disable the health on kill feature.
– added a feature to only allow headshot to hurt someone if your target is far away from you (works with huntsman, sniper rifle and can be disabled), it stills allow you to bodyshot if you are really close to your target (can be buggy as it’s a really new feature and the player_hurt event of tf2 doesn’t provide too much information)
– Integrate all those changes in the killerinfo plugin, so now you will be able to see how much health your opponent had left before killing you.

I’m planning to give a look at this feature now as I finished debugging (hope i removed most of them) my plugin and bodyshots are not allowed anymore as a sniper (with the sniper riffle) if your target if more than 10 feet away from you (it can be tweaked if a lot of people think it’s not enough).
Every other features presented in my last post have been added too.

PS : i saw that most of the custom servers are announced in the announcement forum (sick) so if an admin wants to move this thread feel free to do so.
