There are some good ideas like removing random damage, changing some classes to be more played in competitive gaming, etc..
WOW!
Very good statement, totaly hits the nerve of the current situation.
I’d love to read Robin Walkers answer.
Good read
i agree with most of his points, just dont think its possible to balance spy/engineer/pyro without making them overpowered, i think pyro is good atm, and the spy in old tf worked most of the times cause of the teamkill, in tf2 u can just shoot everyone and spot a spy, the best way of fixing it, would make pyro take only 20-30% of damage when disguised (!?), about engineer, it was always a deffensive class, and thats how it should be
didnt know that a pyro can disguise ^^
got what you’r saying :)
i dont think pyro and spy are good atm…
pyro is damn useless in cw since of his very limited range/fighting ability…
and a spy is to easy detected, especialy if u know there is one around
Variation in damage output from weapons is definately something I’d like to see optional for change. As mentioned, some server-side commands/cvars would be ideal for this and obviously would let the public community continue to play vanilla TF2.
Pyro:
1. Increase the power and range of her shotgun
2. Make the flaregun an addition rather than a sub for the shotgun
3. Introduce a pull-back function to pull enemies closer
4. Make the flamethrower destroy stickies
5. Enable the push-back to combine with jump for extra height
Even then it’s unlikely to be used until leagues go CL1
That particular thread is a good read, but I’m surprised some people here don’t read the Steam forums frequently.
Too many forums are out there :)

Post like this are the reason I stopped reading those forums a year ago.
HAHA fail. Seriously, i tried it too on the steam forums….
just forget them, full of noob vs pro bashing.
“Spy is a very difficult class to master – in fact, hardest in the game. Period. A good spy is never going to attack when opponents are ready for him. He’ll attack when they least expect it or too busy fighting off people in front of them. This isn’t going to change anytime soon.”
i think ur jealeous appe
I like the ideas.
