Trolls could learn a thing or two from Valve . . .
I just expressed my opinion :–)
Hehe, I wasn’t talking to anyone in particular. I was just commenting on how good Valve is at getting the community really worked up over essentially nothing.
(Just remember that if you didn’t use a safety smiley we would be having a VERY different conversation right now)

EDIT: Items still safe. Has anyone lost their gear yet?
I think if you read carefully, they’re saying that they won’t punish idlers since they didn’t have an official policy, but rather they’re punishing people who actually “cheated the system” (perhaps another method?)

Shit, I lost my sandvich. Only thing lost lol. So only useful thing I got by idling was the sandvich I deleted accidentally :D
I lost:
Fan, Bonk, Backburner, Axtinguisher, Flaregun, Natascha, KGB, Kritzkrieg, Ubersaw, Huntsman, Jarate, Razorback, Dead Ringer and my 1 sniper hat.
It will take about a month of actual play to get that all back now that I have already gotten the milestones.

good step though its better 2 know the new item system was a bit fail
