HighFPS Config Infos
The main goal of this Config is to increase your FPS-Amount greatly. It tried to let it look not to bad, but it is still a highFPS Config so… .
I optimized the RAM-Managment so that your real RAM-Amount will be used by the SourceEngine. This should reduce the studdering of the Game (HighFPS but still some Microholds).
Altough i comment&tested nearly every CVar and sorted them in Groups (Model, Light, ..), so it should be easier for you to create/adjust your own Config if you want.
And last but not least i created Backgroundinformation to the Graphic Cvars as a Linklist for better understanding what a CVar does.

HighQuality Config Infos
Nearly the same as the HighFPS Config, but here the Focus is a good looking game. It doesn´t look so mcuh different then the highest setting of TF2 itself but some small Details are nicer ;)
The optimized RAM-Setting are included aswell.
The only backdraw is that i had no change to test it greatly myself because of my good old days computer ;)

If you want to make a fraggmovie then this config is still not maxout, look into the cfg and ajusted it to a bit higher values and there are some possiblities with sv_cheats 1 to make it look a bit better or add effects… ;)

If you want to play, try mine. I don´t know any other and mine is very near @ all maxed out, what a normal player will notice.
But i would appericate some Infos about other HighQualityCOnfigs if someone knows more.

i quite love the high fps one, i’m actually able to play at a decent constant fps with only a few drops now… my rage-o-meter almost broke when playing freight the last time before… ask my mates, they heard it.
Not completely relevant to this, but has someone made a config that barely reduces the graphics quality but increases fps a fair bit by using some barely noticable commands? Would love that. Thanks in advance. :)

No, seriously,i had like 520 FPS on a 1on1 at Turris. Big shit :D But still,i removed the cfg due to it changing completely all in my tf :/ But God thanks the Backup. So i just use the 3 thingys for fps. Just one question here; in the Readme, or whatever it is, isnt explained for what the startcommand is, i have to set when TF starting, so what is it?

Adjusting the TF2-Launchoptions
Start Steam and thenSteam -> RightClick on TF2 -> Properties -> Set Launch Options …
then chose the line which matches your RAM-Amount and copy it into the field.
If you have 512MB
-heapsize 262144 -noforcemaccel -noforcemparms -noforcemspd -console -novidIf you have 1024MB
-heapsize 524288 -noforcemaccel -noforcemparms -noforcemspd -console -novidIf you have 2048MB or more use
-heapsize 1048576 -noforcemaccel -noforcemparms -noforcemspd -console -novid
I got a question, when using this config (or other good ones) in dx9, my weapons are like, not shiny.. ( pic; http://imgkk.com/i/3aOSowQc.jpg )
