I have included two different directories, one for gaming and one for moviemaking, read the readme.txt for installation instructions.
Any suggestions / problems you have with this just drop me a pm here or message me on IRC (kluniQ @ Quakenet)
I already posted in your thread on gotfrag, but I might aswell post it here. You have copied most of the stuff straight out of TUF’s movie config and you’re taking credit for it.
I don’t see what your problem is really, I’m not taking credit for it merely trying to improve the standard of TF2 movies which you appear to want as well judging by the other thread.
If I put “(c) kluniQ 2009” in the configs then maybe, but I didn’t so what difference does it make if the binds are based on some from Tuf’s config or any of the other countless CSS movie configs floating around?
At least you could give some credit to the guy who has put a lot of work into the stuff he’s made. And how do you know he wants you to use the stuff he’s made, have you asked if you can use the stuff he’s made?
I’m sure if he has a problem he would message me on IRC, now if you have any more problems with me take it to PM and stop dragging threads off topic.
Nice stuff, good job.
And ignore Salmon- it’s the internet who gives a shit about giving credit for a video game config.
considering how TUF made the very first well laid out and diverse movie config for CSS back in 06, then ye i guess you should care
editing the sounds is neat though, i personally dont mind them cos i can easily just replace that certain audio clip during editing etc.
Didn’t work for me though I did it after the readme.txt.
.bat data was unable to rename the files and just overwrote all my files somehow…
my config and everything.. Great!! ….
Did you follow the readme?
the ‘tf’ directory I included is empty so the only way it could overwrite your config is if you went from movie -> game without going from game -> movie first.
“Didn’t work for me though I did it after the readme.txt.”
“Did you follow the readme?”
I think he ate a sandwich
