Hey, now that the Pyro update is dropping tonight I’d like to collect some feedback here on how you’re feeling about the specific weapons and how you think they’d fit in competitive

dead ringer is a joke and overnerfed af
ambassador nerf was decent but unnecessary in light of the DR change
pyro stuff really depends on how well they implemented the flamethrower fixes. Sure hope we don’t need 20 ping for decent range anymore. Agree with the airblast rework. Afterburn change seems good because it increases your chance of netting a kill on someone who *just* got away while removing the annoyance of being forced to retreat because you got tickled by a flame particle.
I wonder if the reserve shooter will still be worth it to deny bombers. Still seems like a powerful weapon for soldier, for pyro it’s easily worse than the shotgun but might be useful in specific situations (like you know other team is going to sac you or w/e)
I won’t talk much about new weapons until I play with them but that dragon’s fury looks super fun. More hyped for that than the jetpack
can valve stop balancing weapons based on pub usage statistics and actually do something with the pages and pages of feedback they received rather than copy pasting their blog post from June and labelling it as Day 4
