I consider myself on a high sens when I use 23cm (that’s the highest I’ve used). I can’t think of why you’d want to use 2cm.

Not that good players can’t exist with such high sensitivities, it just seems pointless.

I disagree about the argument that :”Not that good players can’t exist with such high sensitivities”, Traxantic played at fairly high sensitivity years ago and yet he could play at high prem dm wise https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c4uDcFiPG8w

He used to play with 6 cm/360 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AaoH9FVtZ8I

Playing with utterly high sensitivity is definetely possible as long as you can master it and make your aim consistent and accurate, it’s really hard, but possible.

Exactly my thoughts. If however some person is just not aware of what is a sensitivity and does not know how to change it, in that case it’s recommended to change it down on lower. But with someone who knows and finds their current high sensitivity comfortable can still play just like anyone else and improve well with it.

not a good argument, anyone can be in prem, and his dm wasn’t that good to begin with, he was probably on the lower end of prem soldiers at the time.
no reason to play on those sensitivities.

Your argument does not make sense. I said good players can exist however that doesn’t mean that their sensitivity is not a hinderance.

Your little clip doesn’t exactly disprove what I said either, I do remember watching prem when trax played and I seem to remember them saying that he was good but had a stupidly high sens. Not that that means anything particularly though as I didn’t watch any of his POVs.

Either way he could have the best dm in the game because his prediction was so good, but even your clip shows that precisely placing a rocket is impossible for him on a scout moving in a predictable manner and the frag movie shows him missing some easy rockets completely wildly.

I believe that a reasonably high sensitivity can be good because it allows for more movement and control at the expense of aiming consistency but going higher than say 10cm seems like it is pointless and this idea of sensitivity being a personal choice is just wrong to me. High sens has it’s worth and as does low but once you go to ridiculous extremes it is a hinderance.

Trax was definitely not “high prem” at aiming.

Oh well, I play with 4.49cm/360 but then again, I’m a pyro main :)

Whenever I watch a player with a really high sensitivity, even if they’re very good (Scriptzon for example) I feel that it doesn’t look they have complete control of where their crosshair is all the time, which to me seems like a bad idea. Not saying that the players with high sensitivities are bad, but surely crosshair control is pretty essential.

Your desk must be giant. The highest sens I’ve ever used was 3cm/360 back when i played 1.6. Now I use 17cm/360

When i registered here, which was over 4 years ago, i started with 4.5cm/360 until i reached 3.9cm/360 (3200 dpi 3.35 ingame sens). I never had a problem playing like this, but i realized that i miss alot of easy shots. I lowered my sens every week. Since a year im using 40cm/360. It feels kinda easier for me to aim.

I remember that a friend of mine used 1.9cm on Scout/Sniper and he played Div 1 in 6s.
