We’re talking about unauthorized fov which is allowed in certain circumstances (using a server plugin). This is not a clear cut case. That’s why I said, it’s a grey area.

if vac ban is not clear cut case then what is? looks like valve doesn’t care what cheat specifically did you use, vac’s a vac.

If we have proof someone used cheat on official, pcw, lobby, pick up, pub, etc, it can be ban from etf2l.
Actualy, this ban wave is maybe for people who used this kind of plug in after valve said on a news they will ban people who will use plug in like OP p4 etc.
But it’s primary a ban wave from lot of free cheat who aren’t detected .
So, it’s your problem if you are vac ban.
You played with fire, you loose now.

He isn’t VAC banned? Whether other people got banned for seemingly the same offence is irrelevant.

it’s not irrelevant, because this shows that valve is clearly willing to vac ban for programs such as openplugin.
if I used an undetected triggerbot and didn’t get banned, can I say that it’s not relevant that other people got banned for “seemingly similar offences”? No, I can’t, because it’s the same thing, only I didn’t get caught.
but nevermind, I didn’t actually think anyone would get warned or banned or whatever for saying they use openplugin
