If they want pre game publicity just talk to the etf2l admin team and collaborate with them to write game cast posts 2 or 3 days in advance with all the casts information, be it tf.tv or vanilla… Works much better than spamming the forums I think.
etf2l wont post pre game news more than a few hours before the match
also if we keep it in one thread it would soon be dozens of pages long which would be more clutter than having a new thread for each cast…

I’m sure they would be flexible about that, it’s a win win situation for everyone, players can make their schedule to get some free time to watch the game beforehand and the league gets more promotion with more viewers.

No, no and no. Also, from what I’ve seen very few people visit the forums compared to the number that read main page news or even read vanilla or tf.tv news. And even less subscribe to this section I would imagine. It really doesn’t make any sense to be posting a thread per game on such a small and “not that active” forum.
With the added problem of this forum platform not being very easy to deal for the admins with since it’s like a integrated wordpress forum and its much harder to organize or clean sections this way. If this was smf or phpbb you could create tons of extra sections and subsections and countless things to promote games but it’s not, so it only really clutters the forum with no need.
No one is spamming forums, please Kaneco… Lamefx is just advertising the cast and everything is fine with that, please stop making a fuss about it.
If Lamefx leaves 2 messages in 3 days and that is a spam for you, I dunno man, I dunno…

There were 3 threads created in a span of like 3 days, could be avoided with a single promotion thread, but whatever, it’s the “admins house” not mine, I don’t decide anything.
I prefer to always “keep the house clean”, experience from someone who manages a forum with 5k users I guess, who am I to say anything…
If the ETF2L forum was super busy and there were like 10, 000 new threads each day, then yes. It is definitely fine right now.
Ignoring the obvious fact that new threads get a lot more eyeballs than bumped threads, ETF2L just isn’t that busy of a forum. Infact it’s quite quiet to be honest.

3 threads in just over a week
it probably seems like more because no one else talks about anything on these forums ever can we just move to the tf.tv ones
