damn nobody uploads the Pirate Radio episodes like you.

For the record the late night dbls are not very exclusive, anyone who has me on their friends list can confirm that I spam asking if they want to dbl.

Thanks for your hard work, we’ll be here waiting for you with open arms if you decide to come back.

The problem with that, is it eliminates competition, and competition is a huge driving force. It’s nice to have multiple casting orgs fighting for position, as it means the quality has to improve to get an edge over the others.

What there needs to be, is more mutual promotion between the two casting scenes. Everything that goes on teamfortress.tv effectively needs to be linked on vanilla, and vice versa. Use each other’s fan base to generate more views and subscribers for each other.

Before you look too deeply into it all, the simple fact is that having lots of tiny groups will not attract new viewers or create a thriving community like a single all encompassing organisation would.

Arx makes a pretty good point. It’s a shame really there should be more support for the support. The people who cast (even if you don’t favour them),

lolol good one

Skyride, why don’t you and Comedian pitch in with tf.tv, maybe after a little break to recharge? They seem like decent guys whose talent almost matches their ambition – and you might be the missing piece in the jigsaw.

Some shit like this.

For the past few months, everytime I see a post which basically reduces to “nobody does anything apart from these X people in the community” I just ponder the above.

Veering off that a bit…

I’ve been around the community for a long time, and i’m proud to support it, but I have no particular skills – the biggest thing I have probably done to help is attend practically every iseries I could, including the free tournaments.

The only thing I reckon I could do is write – but tell me, what do I write about? I personally don’t give a shit about most teams at the top. I like a bit of drama, of course, but to really be able to write something good you need knowledge on the players or the teams. I’m just a shitter, i’m not going to analyse prem games etc. If I had a niche subject or some knowledge, then perhaps, but i’m at a loss – ideas?

What orgs do you suggest even need help from average shitters?

i added you to let you know what you can do. If anybody else wants to help add me.

Both of us are just a bit fed up with TF2. I’ve already helped out tf.tv with a couple of things here and there, but I’m not really interested in joining and working it on it the same way I did with VTV.

Most people who’ve been in the scene for years have had at least one time where they’ve felt like “nah, cba with tf2, i’m quiting”, and i’m no exception to that. But I can honestly say this time it’s different.

Skyride: I have always admired your effort to bring TF2 to a higher level. But that applies to anyone in the etf2l, vtv staff and everyone out there who is making a difference. Hope you stay on board the TF2 train though and thank you for everything :)
