I think this could’ve been done a bit more professional.
The entire thing is obviously an awesome job and support it fully, i think people are taking the whole privacy thing over the top here, but yes…

The thing i’m somewhat dissapointed in is the fact that you posted screenshots of players litterally out of the blue on this thread.
What made you do this instead of just having a talk with some of the AC/Head admins and let it roll from there?

On the other hand, i feel this plugin, after some talks with admins, should be installed on every server for official games.
It’d be great if there was just a way to link it to the etf2l whitelist, so that if you’d start playing an official, you’ll have to use it in order to make the game “official”.

So having spent some time investigating this, here’s the story:

1) This plugin is piss easy to circumvent. Like its crazy. I could go add one line to my autoexec and it’d be 100% circumvented. Obviously for the benefit of catching cheaters I won’t say what exactly, but it is that simple.

2) The whole thing is based on the principle of Security through Obscurity which if you know anything about computer security means its a complete joke.

3) This is literally going to miss so many cheats its not even funny. Maybe if you’re x22 or some shitty free thing off google it’ll get you, but if you have any half decent paid for cheat it’s never going to catch you in a thousand years.

4) As a plus, if you got caught, you’re caught. It’s not going to pick up any false positives.

tl;dr: The only people who will get caught by this from now onwards are div8 scrubs who got their cheats by typing “free tf2 hacks” into google.

Been going through the first 1k or so. Anyone who wants to do this rather easily, just get MMCE ( http://www.mydailymanga.com/2008/06/21/manga-reading-tool/ , don’t mind the name). It’s able to display images from archives without the need to unpack to a new folder.
