Yeah it is sort of thing that I feel is a bit unsporting if the entire team is using these when other players don’t even know how it can be beneficial.

basicly the only part where its beneficial for us and why we used it was because we used to play on american public servers together and sniper or scout there. The admins had no worries and didnt kicked us because of a 120 ping etc. i dont really know who to blame if you dont know about this possibility and how its done.

Stop whining like a little bitch man. I’ve yet to see anyone as a noticable rate hacker. Maybe you should just aim better.
You whined about my rates and yet it’s funny because your medic was the one who set my rates (and my whole config).

Never noticed a problem vs people with the 1 ping and i’ve never played against anyone(to my knowledge) that changes rates when they press a different movement key. Datz just silli!
Iv seen so many people with 1-6 pings when they obviously have over 100.
Its sad that they are nearly always russian.
Its sad that they are too stupid to put it at something believable :|..

I dislike the pvohat movement script more than these rate things. Can’t rate just be set at static 60000 in etf2l configuration. And be done with it? Or have it so that you can either set it on a high setting or a bad net setting and you can’t Chang it? This seems like a waste of time discussing things like this.

Can’t really do that without causing more drama.. (along the lines of “my net is shit and this config doesn’t work for me”)

Not just rate, it’s pretty much all net settings. We would have to lock them all (which is not necessarily a bad thing).

IMO my bad net is not an excuse. It’s the same as saying “I need custom low poly skins to get higher FPS so set sv_pure to 0”.
