If anyone hasn’t noticed yet, you have to add -nod3d9ex in the launch options to fix the overlay.

Just wanted to post that, for fuck’s sake.
Alt tabbing wasnt really a massive problem for the majority of people beforehand anyway? Windowed no border = instant alt tab.. o_O
I miss overlay – esp for mixes and shiz :((
Try switching to full screen, alt-tabbing really works fine with it now.
Fixed the overlay issue for me (either that or the fact that I fully reinstalled TF2).
Remove from launch options -dxlevel. Working overlay and alt-tabing in full screen.
