Apparently skyride’s invention requires some sort of a reopening party to get players to play pickups as there are people around assuming the service, along with the bot, servers and the channel, is dead. Well, I’m here to report that #pixeltf2.pickup is still alive. Servers are supposed to be stable again (no more crashes being reported lately as far as I know) and the bot is working fine. Not many games are played just because you people don’t want to add up. So add up. If the channel has a bad reputation regarding the quality of service, then I just wanted to inform all the nonbelievers that it is possible to get a proper pickup again.

For the sake of having a good public pickup service going on, I’m inviting everyone to play some warmup pickups in the early evening, starting today, Saturday 26th, at 18h00 CET. Gather up, get some friends, play. I am aware that mixes will start to pile up by then, but if you can’t be arsed with looking for other five people, join up. I’ll surely try to invite some people from my friends list too.
