I finish work at 5.30 GMT so when I get back home today in the evening I will make it vanilla and remove the stats. There is also couple of things that I have to do on the box so for now joining through friends will not work (it will show local IP address), however joining through browser works perfectly fine. It’s due to setup we have our box on and I’m working my best to resolve the issue (should be fixed hopefully by the end of this week).

Fall damage is indeed one of those things that a bunch of mge servers seem to fail at. The entire idea behind mge mod is to simulate real game play, yet they turn off fall damage >.<

Calm down now, I already said I would do it anyway :) Fall dmg wise, i was planning on leaving it on anyway so do not worry about that. My idea about mge is training too so fall dmg is kind of essential.

There is always plenty of other mge servers to play on that do have stats on.

Quite true, just posting my opinion of stats. Would be awesome if you could find a way of ranking people that didn’t make them play like retards though!

Unfortunately I dont give enough damn to write my own stats system, the one one in MGE was originally done by MikeJS (afaik) and is quite enough.

If someone is choosing to be a massive dildo and exploit MGE-only situation (that would not have their place in actual game) can get on my horse.

Anyway I am still playing some mixes and PCW’s so I will be working on MGE server later. I will keep you updated.
