I’m not whining about it being used in a competitive environment. I know this won’t happen. :)
Though, I used to have fun playing on public servers but I don’t anymore since too many updates destroyed the game and this one just nailed the coffin for me.

Just played against it for the first time. Valve have completely lost their way in introducing weapons, it is beyond ridiculous now. Weapons like the Quick Fix and Detonator they play tested in Beta but then they throw in weapons like the Liberty Launcher and the Laser which are stupidly OP (not to mention frame rate destroying) without thinking about their balance and effect on gameplay and these weapons actually drive me out of enjoying public like I used to.

This is probably the most ridiculous item release we’ve seen yet. Why don’t they use the Beta for testing shit like this?

Because it’s bullshit how people are getting annoyed over updates that IMPROVES the game and put in new weapons wich makes it more fun.
not all unlocks improve the game
If they added a gun where whenever you die you kill your attacker too, would that make the game more fun? What about a machine gun for the spy? Or a nuke? More weapons =/= more fun.

More weapons don’t equal more fun. And not all updates make the game better, normally its breaks the game, which ends up in tf2 going like 1 step forward 10 steps back as they also have to repair/nerve the new weps.
The new weapons are just out of place in the game.

There’s more different ways to play the game wich makes it new and refreshing. If they didn’t do it it would have just died because everyone would get bored with it.
