Hi guys,

since the update I get the error:

Engine Error: Could not load library client

Anyone with the same problem and/or solution to it?
I don’t use any custom HUD. And what I’ve noticed so far is that it is probably caused by the new koth_badlands, because if I check my maps folder it’s empty except for obscure/snakewater etc.

Things I’ve tried so far:
-Turning it off and on again (reboot steam)
-‘Repaired’ my steam install with the installeroption
-Removing all launchoptions
-Verifying game-cache
-Removing the Addons map (just has p-rec but still)
-Reinstalling

there are already enough threads about this problem here and elsewhere. nothing known works so far as I know. so it may be not fixable by the user :(

gonna play non valve games the whole evening. like quake and monday night combat and sc2 and monkey island 1 – 2 and stuff. I DON’T NEED HATS TO FEEL ALIVE!

I’m reinstalling Windows soon .. Valve better fix this quickly.

deleted folders: resource, materials, ui, scripts, both bins, cfg, sound.
so i guess I deleted my HUD already. seeing that ppl already reinstalled tf2 as well I doubt this would fix it for me. correct me if I missed a folder including custom stuff (just using broesels hud)

anyway the only solution I see atm is to wait for valve to fix it :|

my game crashed too the first time i wanted to join a team, deleted resource, scripts and materials and then it worked :/ But I suppose Valve will bring a fix sometime soonish.
