nobody did more for tf2 than st8 and day, rest are just followers, attempting to fill a void they never can. I bet there are morons here who do not even know who or what ST8 and dAy did.

TF2 grew so much under his supervision, there was just a lot of haters out there who hated for no damn hating reason – haters

Darn for me. Never have I seen a man so happy about having a balloon tied to his wrist.
For actual influence – probably Arie (and all the awesome FB guys) because their technical knowledge and lovingly deep pockets, gave so much to the community :]
Edit: CommanderX is the single greatest person ever in TF2.
