I thought this was more about the aiming aspect. But anyway. If you have a predictable enemy you lead your aim a bit. But vs an unpredictable enemy i would try to track him as best as possible.
@above. Scattergun has the same basedamage as shotgun. Scattergun deals more damage close range while shotgun deals more damage longrange.

Why is it everyones writing guides on how to aim these days especially in tf2 it seems…POINT AND CLICK is the key.

i would also add to this that if you keep playing you should also practice your pointing and clicking. this may help over time
join as 1700 soldier when someone is asking for scout 1v1 at 2200 on mge and then continue to follow them around = profit?

tested when you shoot at the feet and direct, seems both do the dame amount of samage. only shooting at the feet allows you to launch/juggle your opponents which is by far more useful

Direct is EXACTLY the same if you shoot their actual feet. If you shoot the floor and not their feet it will take less damage. A direct is a direct no matter where you shoot them and a none direct (splash) is a splash no matter where you shoot the floor. It’s just distance to think about.
