high ping practicing

what do people think about playing with high ping, e.g on a US server, whether it’s MGE or the likes to practice/warmup for a euro game (or vice versa)? I found it quite nice before christmas as playing on a high ping even on a DM server stirs the brains not just the aim
y E tf2l should try bad pinged na servers? fuck that. its like watching fb vs that crappy us team all over
its pointless unless ur playing scout
the hitreg with soldier/demo/medic is way different so ur only losing on what u could gain when playing euro mge
yet, i love playing pickups with decent ppl and all unlocks, so <3 pug.na

but im serious, it feels really nice to see the rockets go at a normal speed and playing at a high ping just forces you to think more

Lol. Thats quite fucking stupid, why would you get used to play on US servers with shit ping if your from europe. That will only mess everything up when your gonna play pcw/officals later.

i worded it the wrong way, on high ping you have to depend on brains more than aim (atleast for soldier/demo) so in terms of gamesense if you can adjust your aim quickly to EU pings in warmup then there’s no loss and only gain
All about ping, If you cant play with more than 20 ping dont bother, If you dont care having abit of lag go for it, We played a few late night mixes the other day and that was easilly playable, as all classes to

Urhm.. Not really, then its just better to go on a europe dm/mge server and play and just not adjust in warmup. I dont really see the point, you dont get better aim to play with high ping tbh.

i sed gamesense not aim
it improves your gamesense
if you can adjust your aim i.e dont need warmup

Oh well, but if you play on the american server with the higher ping to get better gamescense, wont your gamescense and aim adjust to the high ping instead of the normal one. So you just need to adjust your gamescense to the Eu server again, because its still not the same.
But I shall try it sometime and se if Im right OR wrong.
