Season 9 will start in the middle of January and end in the middle of April. Season 10 will start early in May and end early in July.
So i take it before they found out about the mid jan start date everyone who has been complaining was not going to be playing any tf2 in the period of time between mid jan and the beginning of feb which is obviously a much more sensible date

If you honestly think a 3 month (12 week) break between seasons is a good idea then you have no idea how esports and the internet work. See you in march/april, when everyone has folded due to a lack of anything happening. At all.
here’s an idea: let’s start s9-s14 simultaneously and play 5 matches a week.

I’m not saying mid january is optimal but March/April is retarded.
