I don’t, there is any sound in hl2 files that is really similar to quake’s hit sound?
I think I’ll just hold out and count on valve reverting it back.

It is actually a pretty nice hitsound.
I’m going to use it instead of that horrible bell/default sound.

its not that bad when you change the min and max pitch. I used min 70 max 130

-Must now be specified by replacing the ‘tf/sound/ui/hitsound.wav’ file.
