I got this stupid fucking mouse: Silvercrest GMK 807.
back with my old 800dpi mouse from tesco my sense was 8.2 inches but since I got this I’ve been using 1600dpi and those ****ers changed the sense in tf2 from 0 to 10 to a new bar with only 0 to 6, I don’t know what my sense is anymore and it’s seemingly random and changing, I would be turning around slowly and then I would shoot around really quickly and it’s unpredictable which makes aiming near impossible, mouse acceleration is turned off in tf2. What can I do? :(

sounds like you have acceleration turned on in windows (happened to me after installing new mouse – even though windows acceleration was off with the old mouse)
try it?
edit. also I don’t quite understand if you remember what your “sensitivity “your.sens” before you started fiddling with it. put it back to where it was divided by 2 (assuming that your old mouse was actually 800 dpi and new one is actually working on 1600 dpi)
example: I had a g5 which broke, ingame 2, 2000 dpi, no accell
i bought mx518 and to get same cm/360 i needed to set it to ingame 2.22, 1800 dpi, no accell – you can just calculate it

what was your in game sensitivity?
google mouse sensitivity calculator
use “m_rawinput 1” and try and get close to your original sens.
This should prevent any problems in future with different DPIs.
Calculated it(So maths actually did come in useful for once..) 1.8/6 = 3/10 + 800 dpi/cpi + 0.75 windows multiplier = 9.1 inches. Now to check acceleration.
Edit, I checked my launch options and -noforcemaccel is in there so there should definitely be no mouse acceleration, I don’t know maybe it’s the mouse =/.

is your “enhance pointer precision” off? (check control panel)
