A petition will only do so much, I think we have to get involved ourselves, help them out with sponsors and so on, Valve isnt impossible to talk with either and can provide some prices.

If we only relies on DH crew this is gonna fail(again).

I think we need a group that keeps the interest up and can communicate with Dreamhacks esport crew.

Petition is just part of duncs letter which will involve all things mentioned above.

I agree with tramsig. One thing TF2 has that alot of games doesn’t is that developer communication and “support”. Getting any kind of support from valve would be awesome tbh.

The petition won’t do much on its own but yeah with the letter its another string to the bow. Try to give them details of the i40 attendance as the more tickets we convince them we can sell the more open they will be to giving us a tournament, thats all they really care about is the moneys as i doubt they’ll go out of pocket to help us.

As for 7 lans in 7 months, isn’t that why you guys spend so much time playing this game each week, to compete at lans against the best and win money like real progamerz?

Good thing he created this thread then, so you can combine the effort. As tramsig said, we’ve discussed it for a couple of days. When asking robin this morning, he naturally confirmed valve will help out with prizes and whatnot. Support from the whole community is definitely needed to make this work, and cooperation between swedes and outsiders is almost essential. I don’t know what I would be able to help out with (except spam robin as always), and I’m sure you guys are on top of it. Still, if anyone needs a place to stay or anything, just hit me up, since our villa is located about 5 minutes from dreamhack.

Also, Racio coming is a requirement!! <3
