The Razer DeathAdder mice have a nice feel to them, although I hear the Logitech G5 is also a good choice.
Puretrak is generally the best mousepad available, but again it is only personal preference.
Any keyboard will do, same goes for headsets as long as it is comfortable and has 5:1 surround.
Isn’t the G5 a laser and not optical? Probably better to use mx518 then

yeah g5 is laser one. had one before and failed on me after about a 1,5 year. using mx518 right now and must say its very similar experience (good) but lacking the weights (which im not bothered with)
WMO 1.1
Desk Mic
decent headphones (spatial awareness is a factor not gimmick 5.1)
a keyboard you feel comfortable with (IBM Model M is nice for russian style)
Razer Abyssus
Fatal1ty Creative (The cheap ones)
Razer Goliathus which fits neatly onto my desk
I have a cheap keyboard that has squeaky keys and no fancy macros and lights
All you need imo if you have high fps and no lag.

Which mice, keyboard, mousepad and headphones are THE BEST.
Opinions?
deathadder, qck+ heavy mousemat improved my game 100% over using a standard logitech mouse with no mousemat. keyboard and headphones really dont matter imo.

touchscreen monitor and you don’t need any mouse to play with!!!!
What happens when you need to hold a mouse button down?

you can still click on the teammate to heal and then turn around while keeping the finger on the monitor (with 2500 sensitivity so you don’t reach the borders) :|

Yeah.. Other than that though, I think touch screen might work well for scouts/soldiers. Aim-wise, anyway. Turning around not so much.
Hmm:
The Apple Keyboard (It seems a silly choice, but it is nice.)
Roccat Kova
Roccat Taito
Some cheap Logitech USB Headset (To be replaced with nice stereo speakers and a new Mac’s internal mic.)
MacBook Pro 15″ screen
But… I want to let you know that my Mac sucks.
