Question like name of topic:

What’s the best crosshair and zoom sensitivity for sniper? I want to know, because i’ve last played sniper in pcw’s long time ago (no crosshair on sniper rifle) and i don’t know which crosshair i should choose.

Cheers.

dc.

I don’t think that the crosshair does really matter this much. And there isn’t such a thing like “best sensitivity” because there are as many sens as many people (not literally), but still, I could tell you a sens like, 4.7, this wouldnt mean anything to you without telling the DPI. And even if I did, that doesn’t mean you could play with that sense. And so on, everyone could tell you their sense, you wouldnt find a connection between them (mostly), and even if you found one that is good for you, it would be just an accident, we could just tell you randomly numbers instead of that. Sorry if I didnt help much, but this question is just dumb, and your problem can’t be helped, you have to find your sens by yourself.

Yea, you’re right, but i want to know what sens uses players, who’s main is sniper.

I don’t think you quite understand what “main” class means.

Go read [invalid URL]http://www.overclock.net/computer-peripherals/173255-cs-s-mouse-optimization-guide.html[invalid URL] if you genuinely care that much about sensitivity.

tl;dr: Use 1 ingame and play with the dpi. If you dont understand what that means just uninstall.

I’m sorry?
I’m not sure if I’ve got something wrong but that means you have 4.1cm per 360 degrees

In my time playing TF2 I’ve played on every sensitivity from 2cm /360 at the start to 50cm /360 and now a days I don’t aim the best I ever had but I use about 10/15cm /360 and its fine for playing soldier and scouting occasionally.

As everyone says, as annoying as it sounds, personal preference is best and finding your own sensitivity is an important part of playing any game.

Just find a sensitivity and stick with it, the problem I’ve had is I haven’t really played actively for more than 6 months with out dipping or and back in to TF2 so I tend to change my sensitivity because after a long time playing with really low sens when you come back to it it feels reallllllllly low and then after a long time playing with higher it feels to high.

Even sometimes after just playing actively for a few months all of a sudden I’ll wake up and feel my sensitivity is far to high (like reasonly), i just played through it and now it feels normal again but kinda frustrating, anyway i just woke up so this is probably full of shit but meh.

Ah right, I thought the windows multiplier was 3

Centimeters Per 360 = 52.2

Supposedly :s

High sens + really low zoom_sensitivity_ratio = win.

You can aim really fast near the head, zoom in and then fine tune your shot to hit directly. Personaly I use ~15cm/360 and zoom_sensitivity_ratio 0,5 iirc.

thats actually the worst thing u can do.

the fast sens and then the instant slowdown completly confuses ur aim

better is a solid sens in and out zoom
