Is it just me or was it made unusable without the sv_cheats 1 on. I just found about it by reading a post here, on the forums. But when i tried it, it showed that its unusable if sv_cheats 1 isnt on. When did this happen!

Have no idea why this one was classified as cheat. Of course you had to modify your crosshair and you couldn’t snipe, but I can’t find any other real obstacles, not to mention reasons that could justify the decision.
Btw, there was a thread, where op asked if that cvar is a cheat; ’twas a day before mac update, derp. :3

It wasn’t actually because of me that it’s now a cheat cvar, but I don’t care what you think about it and it’s funny to see that you all rage over it :)

No raging going on to be honest. People just genuinely think you’re -insult here-, except you happen to have experience and power in the community. You should learn the difference between hate and rage :)

If so, then why no one used it before?

Valve added it to sv_cheats, not anakin. So there’s obviously a Valve-approved reason.
