People’s accounts can only get stolen by them opening a malicious program that sends information (passwords and logins that you’ve saved on your pc) to a ftp server that the hacker has access to. I’ve got a few of those lying around , if you want to try how it works.

Thus he has not only your steam login and pw , but also your emails and tons of other webs. Thats how they get hacked.

I could give you my login/pass right now and you couldnt do shit , only things you could do are for example cheating on it and other stuff, but i would still be able to log back into it when i want to.

If I had your login/pass I could just change it, the contact email and the special question. Although I’m pretty sure you would get the account back, I could get vac banned and you wouldn’t have any change of defending yourself. After all, steam support isn’t instantaneous.

EDIT: Also, the average user is a retard, and probably uses the same password on steam and email.

i just feel, asking/paying any money at all for a service that costs nothing but a minute max of time, is fucking stupid and dirty.
