if you are talking about the comp tf2 config scripts, afaik they don’t mess with mouse binding.

Not sure if those are handy. Mouse 2 is usually less easy to use when firing than Mouse 1, and seeing as Mouse 3 and 4 are usually on the side they would be even more awkward to use.
Depends on what you’re used to I guess though.
Also, just ditch the rocket jump script. Jump scripts are useless.
Well on my mouse it’s fine, the thumb buttons are very big and accessible, and FYI mouse 3 is middle mouse button.
And the jump script is there if you want to use it, nobody is forcing you to.

Is this like a quakeworld boomstick script?
Not played quakeworld but a quick google tells me that basically yes it is. That is if I’m understanding the ‘boomstick script’ correctly (different buttons for switching to and firing different weapons?)
what mouse do you use random ?

In quakeworld, when you die you drop your current weapon. You obviously don’t want to drop a powerful weapon. A boomstick script make the character hold the boomstick (shotgun) at all times. When you fire, the script switches to the desired weapon, fires, and switches back to boomstick.

Just a cheap Trust one I bought about 2 years ago, it’s only special features are two extra thumb buttons on the side of the mouse. Thinking of getting a Razer mouse soon though as they look great and this one is falling apart a bit :P

Ah well no it’s not like that, when you’ve pressed a button to fire a weapon it stays on that weapon until you switch again to fire the next one.
I might not be explaining this very well so just try it out :P
(And I don’t see why you’d want this in TF2 anyway? It doesn’t matter which weapon you drop :/)
I’ve got a cool script that I created a year ago that works pretty awesomely.
If you’re wielding weapon 1: Q – weapon 3, E – weapon 2.
w2: Q – w3, E – w1
w3: Q – w1, E – w2
ALT is for medic call.
4 and 5 are still for PDA.
I got used to it already, much easier to use than the standard way.
If you’re curious and want to try it out contact me. :P
hey you bastard this is my scout cfg. ask box 2 i did it first.
edit: ps been using this for a year
edit2: script stealer
edit3: just read the script. very clunky. mine is better
edit4: wtf is the point in binding mwheelup and down to weapons. when you fire after switching you will swap to whatever button you click anyway.

I have mouse2 bound to last weapon used, shit is cash.
What’s the bind for that?
bind “mouse2” “lastinv”
