There’s so many tables in division 6, coming 2nd in one table may be achievable by a clan whereas if they were in a different table they might not even reach the upper half. Therefore they might not even be able to cope in a division 5 table, also I guess depending on the divison 5 table they get put into.
The chances are this wont happen, but having 10 division 6 tables and 10 division 5 tables does allow for more random events like so. See what I’m trying to say? :S
So u suggest to take the promotion , of teams that deserved it winning top3 places , just becouse they will show bad results on afterseason matches? Like in sport , luck plays big role ,personaly i won’t take those after season games very seriously.
I don’t really understand what you’re trying to say there, and I don’t think you understand what I’m trying to say either :P
The cup wont stop any team getting a promotion they deserved, it may just give an insight into how hard it was to earn that spot respective to the other tables from the same division.

Nevermind about that now , but don’t you think making tables would be to much? Come on , we just played a whole season and +9 games? Making a tree would show the skill that much , but would be faster and not that ‘serious’. Think it would be a nice tree of 1st and 2nd (maybe 3th) places taken teams.
I never mentioned creating any tables, was just discussing the cup exactly as you are.
A tree with the top 3 teams of each table from div6 (30 teams), and another with the top 2 teams of each table from div5 (20 teams). Could even do it with division 4 as well, the tree would just be a lot smaller (12 teams) and that’s if every team wants to participate.
We certainly are :) I’m putting together a proposal to the rest of the admins, just need to type it all up on my computer.

Yeah, I canvassed some opinions from about 25 teams across divs 4-6, and whilst nearly ever team was very interested, there were very few who would actually be able to guarantee to have a team available at the short notice we had, due to the Christmas holidays coming up and other factors :(
So unfortunately we won’t be able to run them at the end of this season, but I definitely plan to get them added to next season, even if I have to run them all myself!!
