I’m just pointing out the good factors of the cup. Besides, why wouldn’t I want that? :D
No you’re pointing out that you think you should have ended in 1st place in your group, but since you lost 7 points already, it’s gonna be very hard to do that. So now you’re trying to convince people that Ecliptip are indeed Mid+++ instead of top div 5.

To be fair they lost 6 points on a match where they were forced to play with 5 against 6 the entire time since they weren’t allowed a merc. Had they played with a full 6 it might have gone different.

I guess you could have drawn those conclusions out of the way I was talking (just sounds like I’m talking about my own clan), but it’s really not what I was going for. In no way am I trying to use this as a reason to boast about Ecliptic, the points I made about the cup are general positive pointers for any clan that may get the chance to participate in it. If it goes ahead?
I would rather have the cup go ahead so we get the chance to keep playing in officials off-season as we aren’t in any other leagues, not to prove we are mid+, which we most certainly aren’t.

Yes I did, and I’m not gonna go into who’s right or not. That does not change the fact that things might’ve gone different had they been able to use 6 people.

I really hope the admins are seriously considering holding this cup, because it would be fun, for once, to have a cup in which more then 2-3 teams have a real chance of reaching the finals :)
Ha ha, yeah it would be fun to see if the teams that have dominated our group are especially highly skilled when compared to the division as a whole :D I also agree that it would be quite exciting and competitive as all the participants would be taken from (at least in theory) the same skill range :>

We certainly are :) I’m putting together a proposal to the rest of the admins, just need to type it all up on my computer.
Its a fun challenge for the teams and a way for them to prove that they belong in a higher division. It might even help the admins decisions for next seasons division standings a bit?

True, but I just mean the further extent of the cup will allow a slight skill definition of each team. A team that comes 2nd in one division table may well be much better than another team that came 1st in thiers of the same division. The cup will just help to show which teams may be able to nail the division above, and those who might not even be able to cope.
How they might not be able to cop if they’re 2nd in table?
There’s so many tables in division 6, coming 2nd in one table may be achievable by a clan whereas if they were in a different table they might not even reach the upper half. Therefore they might not even be able to cope in a division 5 table, also I guess depending on the divison 5 table they get put into.
The chances are this wont happen, but having 10 division 6 tables and 10 division 5 tables does allow for more random events like so. See what I’m trying to say? :S

Well, then its better that the 3rds of each div5 plays a league/cup ;)
