Hey, since Canfo left we haven’t done much in regards to MGE. Reading http://etf2l.org/forum/general/topic-28792/ has made tinker around with an idea, and I’d like some extra feedback on it.
Which class should we pick first?

endif is broken. Unless there will be a rule against shooting the enemy right when he spawns (until he reaches the ground for the 1st time in that life), it would be ok.

There is a rule that forbids shooting the enemy before he touches the ground after he spawns.

Where? In the official MGE rule book?
Viaduct is practically never played in Soldier MGE, Ammomod [MGE] would be a suitable replacement. On a similar note, Waste is much more popular in Scout MGE than Gullywash. Other than that, this looks like a nice initiative!

why would you not be allowed to do that? endif used to be played exactly like that and it’s not like only one player can do it, both can do it. of course the one that hits the first shot can then “spawncamp” and has an advantage but doesn’t he get that advantage because he is better?
I personally don’t get those MGE rules, someone ragequit on MGE spire the other day after I hit an airshot, he fell down and I proceeded to shoot at him when he was on the floor with 30 health and couldn’t jump anyway. OH NO
I can see it being annoying for the players and viewers, but I’ll stay unbiased for now.

ammo mge > viaduct mid
and would be cool to see bball 1v1, but I don’t think that any mge servers supports it
