Maybe not for you, but it is an issue for people who aren’t familiar with HL prem circle jerk, for example some casters and likely a big portion of casual players watching the stream.
The rule was implemented because people were taking the nick name bit too far, so it had to be clear cut – as CanFo pointed out.

I can see why it is annoying, but I see no reason to be so strict about it. Admirable made a good point on the matchpage of the stacked-scandal; either you stick 100% to your rules, or you make them all open for interpretation.
