You mean div2, and that wasn’t the only thing, SIAS was also missing a main demo for etf2l at the time and atomicus was on a break too. Instead of finding other people though, I decided to cut us out, cause there was no point.
Plus, the new SIAS shouldn’t be the one to suffer over the decisions I made while I was leader, considering I am not even a part of SIAS anymore.

It’s a shame that the whole UGC-everyone-going-plat bs happened in etf2l too.
this is really what happens when divs get bigger:P just win div1 and go prem the season after if it’s that easy! ;) in my opinion sias would be the ninth team to get to prem but there’s only eight slots. not much you can do about that, its not like you deserve the spot over anyone else already in there

Well I was semi-serious. It’s not that they are bad teams, it’s just that I don’t like a lot of players on either teams :D.

Ninth? I think we’re a bit better than some of the teams in prem so putting us as last is a bit interesting.
Also as Candle already said, he’s not playing for SIAS, he like quit hl (for a while?) so saying “not like YOU deserve the spot” is wrong. He’s just offering his opinion.
Schmuse’s reasoning sounds like a fair idea of what probably happened when they picked teams for prem so we’ll just win div 1 and then point our fingers, because we have had good performance vs. prem teams and better performance vs. these div 1 teams.
Anyways as was my reaction to the teams that got into UGC plat, it looks the same here. Sure this is what happens when they make the divisions bigger but now I feel that ETF2L loses some of its prestige doing so. UGC is mostly looked down upon by Euros because the way it ranks and bunches a bunch of teams into one division so its harder to distinguish a top, middle, bottom, apart from, these guys won, thats cool.
Oh well in it for the bottlecap.
how can anyone complain about the 8 team divisions, it’s like the best decision etf2l has made concerning highlander since the start of the gamemode
Well, more spots to fill with less signups, means a lot of teams will either get pushed up or just accepted to fill the spots in the higher divisions so they have a full group. Which has the potential to lower the skill level of a group/division. Makes it less of a good thing for players who decided to be half good at tf2 and get into div 3 when there can be other players who just chose it because they over estimate themselves and get put in anyway.
It’s all speculation/opinion with no facts so only time will tell. Before it was harder to get into a higher division.

I haven’t done the seeding, but I can tell you we’re looking at more stuff than your screenshots.
We basically want to be assured that a team won’t dominate / get dominated in their division, or fold.
Results from past season matter, as well as your mailed application will be factored in our choice to seed a team in div x or div y.
I can remember SIAS dropping at the beginning of last season, so that’s not exactly what we’re looking for in a prem team.
Looking at the applications from the teams currently seeded in prem it seems that most of those did their homework and convinced us with their application that they deserve that spot.
But we’ll see, SIAS has submitted a request, so the divisions might change in their favor.
sias, 1 tip 4 u, next time arrange scrims with prem/div 1 teams, do screenshots how you beat them and prem will say “HI SIAS”
let’s have a hope atomicus won’t left a team because of loss on a scrim “huehuehue”

you can think what you want but thinking wont get the more established teams kicked out in favor of you. do you even play for sias? just have fun and play some officials before complaining about unfair divs.
if you make it to the end of the season without folding and roll all the other teams, i will eat my hat.
