Similarly if at the end of a midfight it’s a scout vs 3 players, he might be considering backing out until he hears the casters go “oh and it’s 1v3 but all three on RED are so so weak, if the scout goes in now he could easily clear up and take this mid” then he’s going to go in instead of falling back. It’s not a gravelpit problem, it’s a LAN casting problem.)

The point I think Arx was making is that on gpit nothing happens for a long time, so in-game there are less sounds and it’s easier for people to actually hear what is being said, whereas in other games this is less of an issue, if one at all.
