This. There is nothing but yourself that are hindering you into making your own league with your own maps and your own rules.

Personally I liked that odd map out which was gravelpit/turbine/orwhatnot, and my team was usually good on those maps. But looking at S14 map pool I got nothing to complain over.

Not quite sure what kind of reaction you expect if you start with such a nice thread title.
“Is S14 Maplist a joke?” – Ignoring the fact that it’s gramatically wrong on several levels, it already doesn’t encourage anyone to even give you a serious answer anymore.

A better question would have been: Why do we only have 5cp maps anymore, or what happened to gravelpit OR what happened to turbine.

We obviously can’t make everyone always happy with every decision we make, but in this case it was purely a question of “most players”.
And most players neither played PCWs on Turbine nor on Gravelpit (while gravelpit was more popular than Turbine though).
In lower divisions Gravelpit was often hated because teams had to adapt to a different playstyle too.
Not saying this is bad or anything, but many players just didnt want to do that, which resulted in one big random spamfest on gpit.

There you have your answer, no it’s not a joke. And next time be more mature about it, thanks.

do you have the exact numbers or you are judging by 2 or 3 forum posts?

Neither.
I’m judging from about 20-25 posts i’ve seen, and i’ve see a few in at least several topics.
And I’m not even a very active forum member, but I’ve seen people want it back in every topic I’ve looked at.

EDIT: I myself do not have much problems with this map pool. One odd map out (Turbine, Gravel, Obscure) seems fun to me, but for now I’m fine with this.
I don’t understand why people say Gravel was removed because “people didnt pcw it much”…. if you’d say most people didn’t LIKE it and because of that they didnt pcw it i would get it.
