Another suggestion would be to get the public server more active if possible. An announcement or something along the lines of that to bring it back to life would be great.

How about the ability to subscribe to Match pages, alot like subscribing to a thread! It helps keeping track of other matches alot easier.

seconded, i love the site, wordpress does its job very well and the coding time invested in match and forum pages etc is high enough already.

The only thing I could possibly compain about is that when you for example choose a menu item from the bar above (News/Forum/AFS Season etc) and want to choose a SUBitem of it, it’s sometimes hard to actually choose it, because the margin of error is very small, i.e. you move out of the dropdown box quite fast (especially if you’re in a hurry). Maybe make it a bit bigger, this is something I think could be improved.

also, dont make these forums constantly observed (edit2: i know they “are”, but i think you get what i mean). While i understand that often you may want to stay on topic (and that is a good thing), this is not a real life moderated discussion board where everyone’s rights have to be looked at. This is the internets, and without some trolling and banter it would simply be boring. Yes, i do want people who only post shit 24/7 and spambots banned, but that does not include people who like to take the piss sometimes.
edit: when it comes to deleting/editing posts, I’d like a “youtube-approach”: When a post is deleted due to flame, it is hidden and shows a small “show post which contains flame anyway”-button; the poster could then decide if he wants the “bad publicity” or have it removed. I never like the idea of someone being able to do stuff the ones below him cannot control/follow.

Maybe a search filter (like clan etc) so that it’s easier to find players with short names :D

so annoying trying to filter through everyone on etf2l when someone has a 3 letter name

also I +1 to having perhaps moderators who help keep things up to date, an example being the ETF2L section of the website, some bits such as “map statistics” are from s6.
