A banned.cfg is a good idea, but people have to keep it update, cause i’m still banned on some servers, even my ban expired 4 months ago :/

The whole point is so you can automatically tell who is a cheater. I don’t know about you but I couldn’t name more than about two guys that I know are banned.
I can name shit loads, just look for a french flag or russian characters, makes it really easy.

But it doesn’t “automatically tell who is a cheater”. It just won’t allow them to join the server, infact it won’t even show in the text chat they tried to join.
If someone is cheating, you’ll notice. Kick the team you’re playing and get another game.
