Yes, there will be a version with only the CORE stuff released either today or tomorrow in the meantime try the REWORKED version it removes the binds without removing the features or wait for the simplified to the bone version.

I’m just expressing my opinion about this Config, I am not saying it’s bad, it is very well made and I appreciate what he did, but I am not getting better fps out of it. I personally want to know why cl_showfps, net_graph, decals are enabled.
Show FPS and netgraph are for monitoring ping and fps drops if any. I know that net_graph can cause lag and FPS drops but as far I do not see a huge improvement on any of my machines disabling net_graph and cl_showfps. Decals are not removed because at first place I wanted to sacrifice as little graphics as I could to get the most performance. Thanks for the feedback though in the next update I will fix those things.

-Most of the features and binds are removed leaving you with only the performance part of the config. Some cvars were changed and it seems to be more stable on some 2 core PCs.
Also don’t forget to use the given launch options.

can someone benchmark this and the Comanglia ? one does it give more fps ?
8 years later and people still try to get more fps
– In-game memory compactor (Frees up memory; it frees up memory everytime when you move if there is memory to be cleared.)
This is already been looked at and actually drops your fps instead of freeing up memory, the best way to make use of this is bind it to a key and press it every 5-10 min.
Also like someone else already mentioned, enabling more hud elements (net_graph, cl_showfps) actually causes you to drop fps by quite more than you’d expect.
Personally I’d say Comanglia’s is still better than this, this guy just added a lot of sidescripts to make life easier, whole Comanglia’s is pure about getting maximum fps.

Started to use this config, but whenever I want to watch a demo, tf2 crashes. Any idea on that?
Fixed: I just left -dxlevel in LO.

Try mat_queuemode 1
The mouse4 scroll wheel thing doesnt work.
