I always got that error on ripbot, just gave up on it and started using the pldx h264 encoder

how’s the quality on it?

Mits

Quality is good enough if you want to make simple frag clips and whatnot. If you’re aiming a little further, like fragmovies, it should also give you a good quality, as long as you use a high bitrate (8000 – 12000). Just play around with it a little, see if it suits your needs

the pldx encoder is the easiest way to encode.
and you can choose ur own bitrate (not like easy h264 which is set to around 6000kbits)
tf2 with 10000kbits is pretty fine, if you dont care about longer encoding time, choose 15000 =)

i used 6k bitrate and it was enough for frag clip, thanks alot!
