After the last mvm update I started dropping to 50ish fps in mids which is unplayable imo.
What seems to be the weak link in my setup?
Intel Core 2 Duo E7600
2gb 1333mhz ddr3 ram
radeon HD5750
Also, I just got a Roccat Kova [+] like 3 weeks ago, and it started dying like 2 days ago.
In lol it would freeze for a few seconds each 2-3 minutes, or sometimes when I would touch the border of the screen (pressing space(screen to champ) would fix it), but in tf2 it freezes like all the time, works for 2 secs then doesn`t for the next 2.
m_rawinput is on 1 and I got no customaccel.
P.S the lights on the mouse are still on, but the cursor doesn`t move.

I had a roccat kone for like 3 years and never had any problems with it. Guess thats worth the 60 eur or w/e it costed back then.
i bought a pc for 800 euro and i get stable 120 fps on max res 16:9

works fine for me and I’ve been using it for 1 year or so…
what mousepad do u use?
Quoted from shank
Roccat Sense, but its not the mousepad, its same with the table or anything.
well, I have a roccat taito mousepad and it works just fine on it, my mouse is “lagging” as hell if i use any other surface to track it on, seriously :D and btw check your sensor maybe some shit got into it :/
and dont forget to get the latest drivers etc

you would need new i3/i5/i7 and any of em would give u much over 120fps if using cfg (cuz gpu isnt THAT good)
i think you might need better gpu if you want max graphics with that, something like gtx 570 or 660 would do it fine

i5 3450 or for more money 3570k if you will overclock it and you gonna have constant 200+ fps on worst mids
if you want really cheap, just try dual core i3 3220 and it will still get u over 120fps
How hard is overclocking, since I`ve never done it before
Intel® Core™ i3 3220 121€
Intel® Core™ i5 3450 187€
How much of a difference would that 65 eur make?

everything will be playable with that i3, but since i5 is quad core the performance increase in some apps and games is worth paying those 65 euros extra
cant really tell you how much difference in fps wise, i havnt timedemo’d both of em, i can just say that with 3450 and chris highframes i get about 250-600fps on blands
and in snowies timedemo1 i get about 270fps avg
overclocking isnt hard, but can be quite expensive bcs u will need to buy more expensive motherboard, cooler and possibly better psu just so you could do it
