When streaming with xplit i get 200+fps in TF2. It feels like i am actually at 25 to 40 fps.
What do?

Chance the priority on hl.exe to high or realtime if you have a i7
What res do you play on ? Windowed mode? Give us some more information and then we can help out more
I5 760 @ 3.8Ghz
8GB ram
AMD HD7850 2GB
Fullscreen 1920 1080 120hz.
I already tried changing priorities and core affinity.

Could it then be because you actully getting20-30 fps ingame? Because your CPU is not topnotch and i hardly believe That you get 200fps with That setup… Also give us some Of your stream settings like quality and present
EDIT: Also trying to stream at 1080p takes loooooads Of CPU power and i dont think your CPU cant handle it

i get some drops when streaming, i have lowered my resolution from 1280×720 to somthing around 1000-800 ish or within 16:9. so my settings:
ASUS GeForce GTX 560 Ti 1GB – DirectCU II
Intel Core i5 3570K – Unlocked – Ivy Bridge
ASUS P8Z77-V LX – Ivy Bridge
Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1600MHz, LowProfile
everything is standard, i havent clocked anything.
stream settings:
30fps
the random resolution
TF2 settings:
1920 x 1080 @ window noborder
stable 260 fps (capped) when not streaming
dx9 chris config
120hz monitor

+1 for not bothering streaming 1080p on xsplit, you need like i7 ivy bridge for that shit and it would still be noticable

Go ahead and try dxtory + obs(open broadcast software) and capture and stream on 720p and try to play on 1080p if its too laggy or whatever .. Also try the built in capture software it is actully rather good only downside atm is That you cant capture in fullscreen so you gonna have to play borderless and windowed

No way you have anywhere near stable 260 fps with that setup.

wanna bet? ;) not stable 260 when streaming but easily when not streaming
I have:
i7 2600k @ 3.4ghz
GTX 580.
8gb RAM.
And I play maxframes on 960×540 and I can’t get stable 240 on mids..
Without streaming i am at 600 to 700 on blands mid. Some maps (fucking gully) my mid fps is much lower (400/300).
…..well now http://www.xsplit.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=5058
My fps has not once dropped below 100 while streaming and it feels and looks much worse then it actually is which is weird.
Anyone know alternatives to xsplit?
edit: same kind of lag in OSU! (2d rythem game) while at 600+fps
