It’s not our fault that your players aren’t committed enough to play on the default dates, ours were. Sort of speaks of lack of motivation when you could only bring 25% of your lineup. I hope you guys manage to get rid of that issue in the future. :)

You’re so commited that you can only play one 30 minute window accross a 6 day period? Literally we wanted to schedule all our group games outside of the normal 20-22.30 block as we’d rather use that time effectively. I don’t mean this as an insult, it’s just stating the facts to say that we don’t enjoy playing substantially weaker teams than ourselves. By the time I realised we had to play at that time I’d already made other plans so in the interest of general enjoyment went with them.

If it had been the other way round, I’d have used a merc and played some other day before taking the default. Just saying.

Also would like to +1 whoever said thanks to deneus. I don’t get a whole lot of fun out of the early matches, but it’s massively good for the community either way so hats off.

Because if I don’t I get half the community messaging me saying “omgwtf traitorz to tf2 commuinity!” :p. Basically as much as I don’t enjoy these cups I see that they help the community so I’ll sign up, but I won’t then cancel interesting games because a team I’ve never heard of with players I’ve never heard of are stubborn and trying to squeeze the dw.
