It would be best to have it as 11 slots then nobody is dissapointed and is kicked? I think some people if getting into their stride on warming up and whatnot is suddenly kicked it would suck.
If theres an extra slot it’s less likey, set up a notification that you might be kicked if another admin comes on etc.
6vs5 still sucks and now there are lots of dm servers out there, so getting kicked isn’t much of a problem.

its back to how it was before atm, 10 pubgamers can play. i guess when i wanna play ill just kick a random guy
I’m pretty sure that there is a reserved slot plugin which kicks the highest pinger when you join using the reserved slot, dunno where to find it.

If its just DM then just play on a different server, not hard.

sai: perhaps it is possible to make a “soft limit” by a sourcemod plugin for 10 public players be able to join. The servers sv_maxplayers is set to e.g. “12”. The two additonal slots are reserved for admins only.

and gravel is working again!
gravelpit only works atm because i disabled the two plugins which made the server crash on gravelpit: stickies.smx and headhotonly.smx
snipers were tremendously underpowered anyways so i guess ill leave bodyshots on. but stickies can ruin a game of deathmatch so ill try to contact serialloser and see if he can work it out…
also you really need to check out doublecross on dm, i thinks its awesome!

Problems: Bad spawns, sometimes people randomly spawn into each other and become stuck. Spawns next to middle of battle area which may be unfair if people are near the spawn.
Suggestions: Either have certain classes spawn in certain areas or have every spawn ouside the main area (e.g. 2nd cp granary courtyard). But then again if you do this there will be more fights outside the mid area, which in this case have either teams spawn on each side?
I have no real issues with demoman stickies tbh.
