The SAS clan has created the first (as far as they could tell) “Highlander Only” server in Europe.

It was launched Thursday and received a lot of positive feedback, and so will stay around by popular demand.

If some of you are not familiar with Highlander, the rules are simple, only 1 player of each class is allowed. As it is very new, some plugins will be added soon, including: swap_class which will allow people to ask someone to swap class with them (currently you need to ask the person, but 9 times out of 10 they won’t mind) and kick_class which will put the current player in spectate if they are away or simply not playing (medics in most cases as they are vital when there is only one…).

This server really is a lot of fun and you will be able to to play a sans-spam game of TF2. It’s also a good way of becoming better at your class, as at the end of the day… you are the only one.

So far as it has been very popular the server has always had at least 12 players on (6 a side) so keep in mind that you may have to wait for a free slot to become available (the server has 18 slots, 9 a side)
