A little update:
We most likely would have the beta ready yesterday, but the weather has been against us. It’s so hot neither I nor Shrike can think properly.
So yeah, this might take a while longer. I’ll update again when anything changes.

For all people who have been bugging me about this:
I don’t know when it will be done.
I work on it whenever I can, but it will still take some time, so don’t get your hopes up.
The pickup system is functional right now, BUT it needs babysitting and thats time I don’t have, especially since I don’t have an easy to use ban system for admins.
The old version only worked because I was working at home and could keep an eye on it and restart it to fix problems.
If you want to see a smart teampicker algorithm in action there’s one on my mixes. 24 of 29 games have lasted 30 minutes.

even tf2pickup.net was balanced when only newbies played… problem comes when ppl who can do 6man start playing ;P
not saying its not good idea, just that there is even no need to balance newbies to have balanced games
